Life Upkeep ("the app", "we", "us") helps you track recurring household and life tasks and sends local reminders when they are due. We designed the app to be local-first: your tasks live on your device, not on our servers. This policy explains what data is involved and who processes it.
The tasks, notes, icons, schedules, and completion history you enter are stored only in a local database on your iPhone. We do not have a server that receives or stores this content, and we cannot read it.
If you enable backup, an encrypted snapshot of your task data is saved to your own private iCloud account via Apple's iCloud Key-Value store. This data is controlled by you and Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive it.
The free version of the app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver ads, Google may collect and process:
Google's use of this data is governed by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
On first launch the app asks for your permission to track. If you decline, ads are
shown in a non-personalized mode and the IDFA is not used for
cross-app tracking. You can change this anytime in
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
The optional Pro subscription is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase and managed with RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment card or billing details — Apple handles payment. RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous app user ID and purchase/receipt data to verify your subscription status. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
Reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. No notification content is sent to any server.
The app uses Sentry to capture crash reports and diagnostic data so we can find and fix bugs. These reports are not linked to your identity and do not include your personal task content. Processing is governed by the Sentry Privacy Policy.

Life Upkeep is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
